📢 "A Dream Locked Behind Rusted Doors" – A Call to Reopen Our GRD for the People
In 2009, with a heart full of hope and a dream to serve our community, our family voluntarily gave land to a government NGO so a clinic could be built — a GRD (Government Rural Dispensary) to help the poor, the elderly, and the sick who couldn’t afford to travel far.
Soon after, a small building was constructed. For a short time, doctors were posted. Medicines were available. People felt relief that health services had finally reached their doorstep.
But then, slowly… everything stopped.
There was no permanent staff, no seat allocations, no proper sanctioning. Within 2-3 years, the staff left, the keys were turned, and since then — the GRD has been locked and lifeless. Now, 15 years later, the building is cracking, and the very purpose we gave our land for — to help the poor — has been buried under negligence.
But we haven't given up.
We are a family of doctors and healthcare professionals. Today, we want to reopen the GRD — ourselves, legally and ethically — to bring back free healthcare, dignity, and support for our community.
We never handed over possession of the land to the government or NGO. It still belongs to us. We ask the Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department, our Deputy Commissioner, our CEO Health, and elected officials to support us in:
✅ Allocating seats
✅ Sanctioning basic staff
✅ Re-functionalizing the GRD
Or even just allowing us to restart it privately or as a welfare clinic with proper registration and community support.
🤝 This is not just a building — this is a promise we made to the people.
Let’s not let it die behind a locked gate.
Any kind of help from any one can help us.
Need true suggestions and options to know.
We are ready to serve.
Are you ready to support us?
