While speaking out in favor of the current all-format skipper Babar Azam, former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed backed him as the T20 starter.

Babar’s batting position in the shortest format was also reinforced by Sarfaraz, who ranked Babar as the best hitter in T20s
There should be no question about Babar’s talents because he is a top hitter in the T20 format, said Sarfaraz.

“Even as captain, I’ll let him start the game. Babar is a player who, if given assistance from the other end, may support innings.

“Improvement is always possible. Babar is developing as a captain. He has begun to improve, and I hope he will continue,” added Sarfaraz.

Making a mistake is a sin in Pakistan. Give Babar some time; I know he makes errors.

Building a squad and becoming a captain take time. As our captain, Babar needs our patience and support.

If Babar remains a captain in the future, he will eventually learn from his errors.

I just had the opportunity to play with him, and I noticed growth in his captaincy. He will benefit Pakistan.

Pakistan’s professional fighting game player Arslan Ash has made the country proud once again by winning the Tekken 7 tournament during the EVO Japan 2023.

Arslan (Zafina) eliminated KDF | Meo-IL (Geese) 3-0 in the grand final to win the title.

Earlier, Arslan (Zafina) beat Varrel | Rangchu (Panda) 3-2 in the winners’ final and KDF | Meo-IL (Geese) 2-1 in the winners’ semi-final.

Arslan now has three EVO titles under his belt in Tekken 7, with his previous wins coming in EVO Japan and EVO Championship in 2019.

On Saturday, April 1, 2023, just after takeoff, a FedEx plane traveling to Dubai was struck by a bird, prompting airport officials in Delhi to issue a complete emergency declaration.

When technicians checked the aircraft for any mechanical issues before giving the go-ahead, the flight made a safe landing and lifted off.
According to sources, the 10.46 am Saturday takeoff time for FedEx aircraft FX5279 to Dubai.

It was forced to make an emergency landing shortly after it took off due to a bird hit.

The flight was temporarily grounded before taking off once more at 1:44 pm when technicians gave the all-clear following a check.

Balochistan has decided to launch health cards to provide free medical services to 1.8 million families across the province for three years.

The decision was approved during the provincial cabinet’s meeting on Friday. The government had already allocated Rs5bn in the current financial year for the health cards and it was decided to immediately roll out the scheme.

The cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, discussed a 63-point agenda, including the review of the Quetta Safe City Project.

The cabinet members expressed displeasure over the attitude of Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and claimed that neither gas was being supplied to Balochistan nor the PPL was paying outstanding dues worth Rs30bn to the Balochistan government.

The killer whale known as Lo**ta appears one step closer to returning to its natural habitat of the Pacific Northwest, after performing at a Miami tourist attraction for decades.

It was taken from the ocean in 1970. But after a long-running dispute over where Lo**ta belongs, officials from various parties announced Thursday a “binding agreement” to take Lo**ta – also known as Tokitae or Toki – to its “home waters.”

“Lo**ta will receive the highest quality care as the team works to make relocation possible in the next 18 to 24 months,” Miami Seaquarium said in a statement Thursday.

“I know Lo**ta wants to get to free waters. I don’t care what anyone says. She’s lived this long to have this opportunity. And my only mission is (…) to help this whale get free,” said Jim Irsay, the Indianapolis Colts owner who is helping to pay for Lo**ta’s move.

He said the cost could reach “eight figures.”

Japanese bike-maker Yamaha Motor Pakistan decided to pass on the burden of the rising cost of production to its customers as it notified new prices of its five models.

It should be noted that the new prices will come into effect from April 1.

Meanwhile, Yamaha jacked up the price of YB125Z by Rs34,000 to Rs342,500. The YB125Z DX model will be sold for Rs366,500 after a price hike of Rs36,000.

Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says that there will be good news for Pakistan this Ramadan, it is a surprise for the world that Pakistan did not become Sri Lanka.

Addressing an event in Islamabad, Ishaq Dar said that a few months ago, the country was in the default risk list, but due to the efforts of the business community, industry and others, there has been a lot of improvement. If we work together, Pakistan can take off.

The finance minister said that efforts are being made to bring the foreign exchange to 12 billion dollars by June 30, the country will develop and the deficit will also be controlled, the current account deficit for 8 months is less than 4 billion dollars.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the federal government will overcome the economic crisis and Pakistan will see prosperity and development soon.

The finance minister said that the drop in foreign reserves was stopped and the government is making efforts to reverse it. He detailed that $126 billion was increased in the national economy from 2013 to 2018, whereas, only $26 billion was increased in the economy in the next five years.

“The current account deficit of eight months is below $4 billion. It is a surprise for the whole world that Pakistan does not become Sri Lanka. Pakistan will not default as all debt repayments are made on time. Pakistan has never defaulted nor it will default in future.”
