We’re Hiring – *Manager Imports in Accessories Merchandising department.*
Location: Superhighway, Scheme 33, *Karachi*.
Role Overview:
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing import accessories sourcing, vendor negotiations, quality assurance, order follow-ups, and ensuring smooth coordination with suppliers and internal departments.
Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare covering letters, commercial invoices, purchase orders (POs), and import documentation.
• Verify vendor registration, licenses, certifications, and market credibility.
• Negotiate with vendors to ensure best pricing and cost savings.
• Conduct product sampling, testing, and quality approvals.
• Maintain accessory inventory, stock records, and costing sheets.
• Coordinate with merchandisers for order follow-ups and artwork development.
• Handle import documentation (CI, PL, BOL, CO, LC, etc.) and ensure timely release of consignments.
• Ensure ROI systems and manage accessories sourcing globally.
• Oversee payment arrangements and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Qualification & Skills:
✓ MBA (or equivalent).
✓ 7 years of relevant experience (in merchandising, sourcing, supply chain, or imports within the textile industry).
✓ Strong experience in import sourcing, costing, and vendor negotiations.
✓ Excellent knowledge of accessories (threads, labels, tags, bands, cartons, polybags, etc.).
✓ Strong ERP and documentation skills.
