Behind the Screens is a short series about the people at Suprematic, those who stand behind the decisions and details that shape our projects and collaborations.
Aleksandra is the founder and creative director of Suprematic. She holds a degree in computer science and studied graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. For the past eight years she has been running the studio: leading brand strategy, design, and client work across industries.

She loves good coffee, surfing, and travelling to unusual places, off the beaten track. She also recently took up gardening and is slowly learning that plants have opinions.

A local craft producer. A first batch of cider made entirely by hand. Apples from October 2024 harvests. Traditional methods, no shortcuts.

Our brief was rooted in place: design a brand that carries the identity of a region where apple orchards have been part of the landscape for generations.

The result is Pōmarium: a brand built around the idea of something old, handmade, and honest. The name itself comes from Latin: pomarium, meaning orchard. And that etymology shaped every design decision we made.
