🤖 Introduction to AI Tools – Practical Workshops
How does artificial intelligence work, and how can we use it safely, effectively and creatively?
CodEng, in cooperation with Empower and the Irish Semester 2026, invites the community to a series of practical workshops introducing the benefits and limitations of artificial intelligence.
The sessions will include useful tips and live demonstrations of tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, Replit and NotebookLM. Activities and examples will be adapted to the participants, ranging from everyday and workplace applications to creative projects and simple game building.

The workshops will be led by Derval O’Neill, founder of CodEng, an educational organisation teaching coding, robotics and emerging technologies since 2015.
No previous knowledge or experience is required. Participants only need curiosity, a willingness to learn and a laptop.
