Today, we gathered for the Kigali Rwanda district conference, and it was a joy to see our brothers and sisters from Gatsibo join us. We celebrated the ordination of two young men and three married men to the Aaronic Priesthood, bringing the total to seven holders in the Gatsibo Group.

A heartfelt thank you to the mission for their dedication in teaching and supporting our community, as well as to everyone who contributes to our growth. It’s a blessing to come together in faith and service!

Today, I am honored to celebrate a truly remarkable milestone in the life of President Russell M. Nelson as he turns 100 years old. His unwavering faith, visionary leadership, and profound compassion have touched countless lives around the world. As both a prophet and a servant of God, his teachings and guidance continue to inspire and uplift us all. I hope this special day is filled with joy and reflection on a century of extraordinary service and dedication. My deepest gratitude and warmest wishes go out to President Nelson on this momentous occasion.

Yesterday the first person from my family got baptized.
The guy with blue slippers is the second born of my elder brother.

Brother Iradukunda Pacifique, has been learning with the Missionaries online. I was participating in the lesson every 9pm after attending virtual institute class.

He come last Friday to stay with me where he got Baptism interview and pass.
He lives in Eastern province, the same place with Brother Aloys Kaberuka whom I did talk about previously.

Today they will be together with me in the sacrament meeting. Brother Aloys Kaberuka will be ordained Aaronic Priesthood and Brother Iradukunda Pacifique will have to be confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

What a wonderful experience will today!

After one year in mission field in Ghana Accra West Mission. I did just remember one of my friends who use to charge my phone when I was visiting my home town where my mother lives. The first Idea was that He needs bachelor degree from BYU.

I did reachout all of my friends to give me the number and searching him through Facebook, fortunately I found him. In very first two weeks I did sepend more time on explaining about the Church and how can bless him, his family and friends accompany with explaining the message of the Restoration.

"I did confirm in my heart that this Restored Church the way you explained to me is true and I am ready to join with my family."He said. After starting BYU pathway, He visited the Church in Capital City Kigali twice where he got a good experience on how the people were kind. I did to give his number to the missionaries in Rwanda to continue with Him. Where the Church is is far from him 4hours driving. It seemed impossible for them to visit him but to teach him online.

The time to be baptized he told the missionaries that he will wait for me to witness his Baptism.

My first goal home was to have that Baptism goes through whatever it may requires me.

Every 7pm I was translating for the missionaries onle video call for him and His family for the lesson. The baptism was done.

Today He will receive Aaronic Priesthood. He is traveling from Eastern Province to Kigali. He is going to be the first person reside in Gatsibo - Kageyo sector having the power of God to bless His Children.

God likes the effort and also the most important thing to do in my life I did learn in my whole mission is to listen and act on the inspiration whether it seems small or impossible for "out of small things proceedeth that which is great".
