💔 1 year ago on this day, I lost my beloved teacher, Sheikh Bashir Ahmad Siddiq رحمه الله تعالى.

I thought of what can be the best on-going charity for the Sheikh, so Allah gave me the idea to upload his Tajweed lessons and this is how Quran Tajweed Academy came into being (01-10-2025).

Ustadh used to say:
"Millions of people will benefit from you."

At that time it was unimaginable of what I am seeing today. One year has passed, the stats have skyrocketed and millions of Muslims have benefited from our content.

May Allah accept this small effort from this humble slave.

This is totally an unplanned post. I am writing in real-time from the depth of my heart.

This video is a proof that no matter where you are, who are you, where are you from, how you look, if Allah ﷻ wants good for you, it will eventually come to you.

Who am I to have completed my Hifdh in Masjid An Nabawi, the place where the Quran was revealed and then read the whole Quran to one of the top teachers of The Quran in Madinah at that time.

Throughout my Hifdh journey, I didn't knew about Sheikh Bashir. How I met him and came to know about him will be discussed some other day INSHALLAH.

I don't know what to write here but....

I will only say:

﴿رَبِّ أَوۡزِعۡنِيٓ أَنۡ أَشۡكُرَ نِعۡمَتَكَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَيَّ وَأَنۡ أَعۡمَلَ صَٰلِحٗا تَرۡضَىٰهُ وَأَصۡلِحۡ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِيٓۖ إِنِّي تُبۡتُ إِلَيۡكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ﴾ «الأحقاف 15»
