Digital marketing specialist:
Job purpose:
Manages all social media channels, campaigns, and team members to sustain an engaging audience experience and to increase audience satisfaction. Researches and analyses social media trends, including social media and web visitor data, to improve social media presence and campaigns efficacy. Coordinate with all departments to promote overall brand through social media channels.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Planning, developing and implementing effective social media marketing communication campaigns.
• Copy-writing for all social media post.
• Understanding the services and customer profile and write thorough specs for each.
• Monitoring ongoing social media daily engagement including messages, posts and comments.
• Producing an accurate summary of total reach, engagement, likes. Etc per month/campaign.
• Undertaking detailed ongoing analysis of social media marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met.
• Assisting in competitor analysis and reporting, with particular reference to pricing, presentation and promotion
Communication and working relationship:
Internally: all departments
Externally: Vendors, services providers, customers, media channel & regulatory authorities.
Responsibilities and Authorities:
• Oversees all company social media accounts management
• Develops engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages
• Coordinates social media messaging with advertising departments, brand managers, and quarterly or seasonal company goals
• Collaborate with social media team members, including copywriters and other content creators, by overseeing their work and offering guidance or direction
• Analyses social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement
• Works with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages
• Monitors and develops reports on competitor activity within social media spaces
• Submit weekly and monthly reports
Knowledge and experience:
At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing
Degree in Marketing or Social Media, Extensive Knowledge of Social Media Platforms, Web Proficiency, Computer Software Proficiency, good team player, Advertising, Copywriting, Content Creation, Public Relations and Brand Marketing Experience, Proofreading and Editing Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Customer Service Skills
