We tend to confuse capability with creativity. A system can generate an image, write a script, compose music, build a website, create a product concept or produce a moving sequence. It can do an astonishing number of things.

But being able to produce something isn't the same as knowing whether you should.

That's where taste comes in.

Vibe coding vs. bespoke web design.
Love it or hate it, vibe coding is here to stay. Anyone can spin up an app, site, or digital product in an afternoon. I’m completely pro-AI. It acts as the left-brain structure to my right-brain creativity.

The mistake most people make is treating raw AI output as a finality.
I recently tested this by building two versions of the same client site:

Option A: Pure vibe coding
Option B: Bespoke build, guided by AI

The result? The bespoke build was far more stable, secure, and ironically faster to finish.
Pure vibe-coded sites look polished at first glance, but the cracks show quickly. Debugging, structuring backends, and enforcing real security often burns through more credits and time than writing the foundation yourself. If you can learn the nuances of prompting and vibe coding, you can learn baseline architecture.

AI isn't here to replace human ingenuity. It's here to amplify it.
Vibe coding will get there eventually, but right now, craftsmanship still wins. Board the train, use the tools, but don’t hand over the steering wheel.
