What helps the Singapore workforce move forward? The right support, skills and opportunities. 🚆✨

At Stellar Ace, we believe important opportunities should meet people where they are. As SMRT’s media arm, we are amplifying Skills & Workforce Development Agency (SWDA)’s career and skills initiatives across our commuter media network by bringing information on career health, lifelong learning and skills development closer to people on the move. 📣

From stations to neighbourhoods, we hope to help job seekers, individuals and employers discover the support available to learn, grow and take their next steps!

With this newly signed MOU, SMRT and SWDA are coming together to support career development, skills-building and workforce transformation.

A new connection for Chinese brands looking to grow in Singapore and Southeast Asia. 🌏

Stellar Ace and GIMC Closer Media have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore new out-of-home media opportunities across Singapore and Southeast Asia, with a focus on supporting Chinese brands as they establish and grow their presence in regional markets.

The MOU was signed at SMRT Headquarters by Ms Mo Yanhui, Vice President of GIMC, and Mr Chia Ti Yu, Chief Operating Officer of Stellar Ace, in the presence of Mr Liao Hao, Board Director, Chief Executive Officer and President of GIMC and Mr Tony Heng, President of Stellar Lifestyle.

As a regional business and commercial hub, Singapore is an important gateway for brands looking to expand into Southeast Asia. Through this partnership, we will explore cross-border media solutions and opportunities that help brands better connect with local audiences across the region.

GIMC Closer Media brings its experience in China’s OOH advertising market, including integrated marketing planning, contextualised media operations and advertising solutions. Stellar Ace brings its extensive transit and urban media network in Singapore, alongside digital capabilities and access to retail and consumer touchpoints.

Together, we hope to bridge Chinese brands’ overseas expansion ambitions with the diverse media and consumer landscape of Singapore and Southeast Asia—turning brand communication strategies into meaningful local presence.

Some journeys take us to work, home or somewhere in between. Through Journeys for Good, we hope they can also bring us closer to the people and causes that need our support. 🫶🏻🏠

Stellar Ace is honoured to support 12 charities by giving their campaigns space across our trains, MRT stations and bus shelters. These are spaces commuters pass through every day—and we hope they can help spark a moment of awareness, a conversation, a donation or a decision to volunteer.

The Journeys for Good Charity Train was officially launched by Mr Baey Yam Keng, Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth and for Transport, who graced the event as Guest of Honour. From 3 September, the first charity train will begin operating on the North-South and East-West Lines, with a second train launching the following week.

As SMRT Chairman, Mr Seah Moon Ming, shared at the launch, “Every day, millions of journeys are made across our SMRT network. These daily journeys can connect people to people when they meet, and they can also connect people to meaningful causes. They can raise awareness, encourage volunteerism and inspire giving.”
