This December break has felt like a quiet prelude to the year ahead.
Unhurried days with no plans ā€” just following the heart and the natural flow of each day. Books and flowers, time with friends, moments of calm that asked nothing more than my presence.
As the new year approaches, this is what I wish for: for myself and for everyone ā€” peace, gentleness, and the space for what truly matters to unfold.

Hello? šŸ©·ctober?

Canā€™t believe how time has just flown by like that! Itā€™s the last stretch of 2023 and I hope to be able to find time to recalibrate and reset priorities. Iā€™ve been blessed with opportunities, new connections and challenges, and Iā€™m thankful for them.

The rest of 2023 will be amazing Iā€™m sure. And I hope the same for youšŸ„°

Burn out is real.

The past two months hadnā€™t been very kind but Iā€™m fortunate to be able to take time off to be with people I love and spend time at places I love.

One of my volunteers told me the other day, ā€œIā€™m just glad to wake up every morning and have the opportunity to be irritated by the chirping birds that wake me up.ā€ That left me thinkingā€¦ itā€™s all about perspective and we all have a choice how we want to address our situation. My departure from corporate life was so that I donā€™t sink into the bustle of work and othersā€™ expectations. Yet I find myself sinking back into that same hole sometimes.

I was awoken today by the taichi music of the oldies at the park. And Iā€™m glad for the new day. I cleared my head with a train ride and Iā€™m also clear how I shall get myself out of the sink hole. Because the choice is mine!

Wish me luckšŸ˜‰
