🍷 McCanners’ Side Hustles: Kieko Mori’s Shared Vineyard! 🍇

Beyond building brands, our McCann Worldgroup colleagues have also been busy outside work hours with their own side hustles!

For McCann Worldgroup Japan’s Director of Corporate Communications Kieko Mori, that passion takes root in a shared vineyard with fellow volunteers. The vineyard grows Pinot Noir and Ryugan grapes, and recently celebrated its first vintage in 2023.

Kieko’s love for wine began years ago while studying in Dijon, France, where the Burgundy vineyards inspired her dream of one day making wine herself. Now, she spends some weekends pruning vines, tending grapes and learning the art of winemaking, a refreshing contrast to her weekday work in communications.

Her vineyard is a reminder that creativity, patience and connection can flourish in many forms, whether in the field or the office.

🌟 Silver at the Adman Awards for “Beauty Inside Out” 🌟

A huge congratulations to our McCann Worldgroup Thailand team for winning Silver at the Adman Awards, one of Thailand’s most respected celebrations of creativity and effectiveness.

The team was recognised in the “Brand Experience – Corporate Purpose and Social Responsibility/Corporate Image” category for L’Oréal Groupe’s Beauty Inside Out. The campaign repurposed expired cosmetic products into art-therapy kits for mental health hospitals across Thailand. The initiative saved more than 8.7 million baht worth of beauty products from being discarded and turned them into tools that support mental wellbeing.

Congratulations once again to our Thailand team and our partners at L’Oréal Groupe for showing how purposeful ideas can create lasting change.

🌟 Shilpa Sinha as Spikes Asia 2026 Jury President! 🏆

We’re thrilled to announce that our Asia Pacific Chief Strategy Officer, Shilpa Sinha, is jury president for the Creative Effectiveness and Creative Strategy Juries at Spikes Asia 2026!

Shilpa brings with her a career of over two decades in global, regional and local roles as a marketer and strategist. Shilpa is armed with firsthand senior leadership stints in prominent markets like India, the UK, China, Russia and Singapore. Her rich brand building experience transcends diverse categories and brands like L’Oréal Paris, Lakme, Nivea, Sunsilk, Mondelez, Coca Cola, Nestle, Lincoln, BMW and more.

A champion of effectiveness and creativity, Shilpa has led her teams to compelling performances at the Effies, has been on the jury of Effie Russia, Effie APAC, Effie Singapore, Effie Worldwide Best of the Best, and has won creativity awards including at Cannes Lions, which she judged this year.
