Apple is launching its 'Vision Pro' on February 2nd, and it seems that the tech giant wants to use this opportunity to revise the nomenclature of VR, AR, MR, and XR technologies by asking developers and partners to describe its upcoming Vision Pro headset as a 'spatial computing' device.

This might not be a bad idea, considering how complicated existing acronyms can be for the average person to grasp. Here's a brief description accompanied by a summary image for clarification:

Virtual Reality (VR): Fully-immersive digital environment
