Not burning down the kitchen for episode 1 = success 👍

Ingredients:
7 onions
1 ginger
5 cloves garlic
2 packs chicken
6 potatoes
1 packet curry powder
500ml coconut milk
4 “siblings” (star anise, cloves, cardamom - I never use the 4th sibling)
4 stalks curry leaves

For roti kirai:
1 packet flour
1 can evaporated milk
3 eggs
yellow colouring

Steps (I estimate only hor):
For curry:
1. cut onions (save 2, sacrifice the rest to the blender)
2. add ginger + garlic + water → blend everything
3. cut potatoes into chunks
4. mix curry powder with water until it looks right (trust your gut)
5. heat oil in big pot
6. throw in spices + onions + curry leaves (it should smell correct)
7. add blended mix + curry paste
8. pour in coconut milk
9. salt (approx 3 teaspoons… don’t quote me)
10. plop in chicken + potatoes
11. cook until it cooks!

For roti kirai :
1. flour + eggs + water (subsquently add) + salt (around 1 tspoon)
2. mix a bit - keep adding water gradually but don’t make it too liquid (we’ll blend it later anyway… my blender small paiseh)
2. add mixture into blender in batches
3. Add 1/2 evaporated milk in blender and blend until its liquid
3. pour blended mix into a bowl and add yellow colouring
4. transfer into squeeze bottle
6. heat oil flat pan
7. squeeze “flower”-shaped like your life depends on it
8. don’t make it too thick or too sad
9. double layer + fold accordingly
