So how to achieve Financial Success 🤑 and Peace of mind without Spending Long Hours with a Financial Advisor. Financial Success whereby step by step you know you have money stash out there when you need it for maybe a house 🏠 or even to retire when you 55 you can do so. We aim to help you retire earlier so you can enjoy quality retirement and health with your families. Having a peace of mind that if retrenchment struck or if something unforeseen happens to you like an illness or disability, you are able to still provide for your family and loved ones. 😍😍😍
When it comes to speaking to a Financial Advisor, we are all afraid of the typical insurance agent whereby they go on and on for hours and even when we start to yawn. I know that feeling because when I’m very young, like maybe 8-9 years old. Our family is served by such agents, not saying they are bad but when I entered the industry I told myself I will not be like those agents. 😤😤😤
However, this situation can be totally avoided, if you as the consumer do the right thing. Here are some ways to ensure you get wealth built and have proper coverage. 🧐
Not all agents are mind readers… Am I implying some are? Hmmm… So Number 1, don’t be afraid and speak your mind. The more you share with your agent, the more they understand you and speak in human language. What I mean is that the more guards 😤😤 you have for them, the harder for them to speak to you, resulting in them going into the so-called “sales mode” 😳 and you don’t want to listen to an advisor in their sales mode 😳 😳 . Yada yada yada, sometimes it's pretty long and boring. So in my case, most of my clients just open up to me, so for those meetings, we can finish out pretty quickly. I just finished one meeting with a client, and it took only 20minutes. Unless of course, the clients want me to go through line by line the policy details, that will take a while. 😬😬😬
Number 2, choose advisor not the products. I know that you want the best deal, best coverage at the best price and no one can fault you for that. In fact, google provides a whole list of comparisons why would you even need to get an advisor to tell you that. 🤔
My belief is that all insurance companies are the same, which is that they are all out there to compete with one another to win your business so there will not be a product that is cheap or more expensive for no reason. 😅
However, the quality of advice differs between a typical salesperson 😳 or professional advisor. I will gladly pay a consultant or a coach if he can guarantee my success or goals or to even push me to make the right decision at times. It may be a hard pill to swallow, but I know they have my best interest in mind. Likewise for financial advisory in the US, they are paid professionals just like a lawyer and doctor and you pay them to audit your financial and prescribe a good solution for you to move forward. 😎
So personally, I spend time and money to invest in the proper structure to better calculate and forecast my client finances if they are on track or if a certain scenario will cripple them. I’m able to show visually and objectively what that is like. In fact, I highly encourage people to spend lesser on insurance. 😬
I know for some people, they may not be able to come out with a budget before calculating 🧮. Yet, time and time again, they are in front of an advisor trying to make them commit without showing if they can afford. It's not your fault, it's supposed to be the advisor job to properly and professionally calculate that for you so you need to prepare some stuff before they can do their job. 😊
So Tip Number 3, is to prepare your finances and dig out any existing policies beforehand before the meeting so that you can provide to your advisor the information they need to do their job. It's also important to be right about your finances 💵 and scrutinize it before the meeting, at the same time it's important to make a good and accurate decision. So most of my clients after sending me their finances beforehand are able to make a decision on the spot because they know its achievable and affordable for them.
Because financial success is not about buying the right products, but the process of doing the right thing over and over again. 🤔
So I have just listed out the finances you absolutely need to prepare beforehand in the link before. Its a google sheet where I will update every once in a while. So just go down to the link and copy it into your drive. 😁😁
So if you are able to do this 3 things 1) Speak your mind 2) Choose advisor not product 3) Prepare Basic list of income and expenses before meeting, you will ensure that your experience with a financial advisor will be a quick and smooth one 🤨. Wish you all the best and stay tune for more of my videos. 👍👍👍
