V spomin svetovljanskemu Celjanu.
Drago Medved, 9.1.1947 - 7.1.2016.

Bila sva si blizu. Vezalo naju ni le sorodstvo, temveč tudi etno- in domoznanske vsebine, umetnost in kulturna dediščina. Bolj po naključju sva hodila na isto Srednjo šolo tiska in papirja, zagotovo pa me je v svet fotografije zapeljal prav on.

Zanimale so ga zgodbe od Istre do Prekmurja, od Kozjanskega do Koroške in čez po Evropi. Bil je novinar, fotograf, slikar, likovni kritik, pesnik, scenarist, urednik, vsestranski publicist, založnik, predavatelj in še kaj, in v vsem tem je bil več kot dober. In nadvse dober po duši, razumevajoč, velik človek.

Njegove avtorske sledi so preštevilne za naštevanje z naslovi. Poleg izjemnega enološkega knjižnega opusa (Trta življenja, Vinski brevir, Najlepše trte na Slovenskem, Sto resnic o vinu, Vinske bravure …), naj omenim vsaj še poezije Botritis, kulturnozgodovinsko monografijo Slovenski Dunaj / Slowenisches Wien in posthumno izdano knjigo Stebri slovenskega gospodarstva.

‘Still’ by Maruša Puhek - photo & design. The photo is the second in the famous series and also a masterpiece. For her aGiclée™ edition ‘Obstoj’ in 10x10 cm format, she received the GOLD FIAP award from FIAP: Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique in the theme ‘Minimalism’ at the Miniature 2018 (9th Biennial Small-Format Photography Salon). This is a prominent competition and exhibition under the auspices of Fotografska zveza Slovenije, traditionally organised by Fotografsko društvo Janez Puhar Kranj (Photographic society Janez Puhar, Slovenia).

Maruša Puhek is also the current holder of the title WORLD NATURE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR 2025, which she was awarded for the photo ‘Run I’, as we already mentioned earlier this year.
