FROM THE CLASSROOM TO SELF-EMPLOYMENT: MEET MOHAMED GEORGE, A YOUNG SHOEMAKER IN MATTRU JONG BONTHE DISTRICT MAKING A DIFFERENCE 👞❤️
For the past three years, Mohamed George has been proudly earning a living through shoemaking. During my exclusive interview with him, I was inspired by his story.
Many people may think he never went to school, but that's far from the truth. Mohamed completed his WASSCE and later graduated in ICT from JADDA Institution, Rutile. Despite his educational background, he chose to embrace the family trade that his father introduced him to, proving that there is dignity in every honest profession.
Mohamed passionately encourages both young men and women to learn a skill instead of remaining idle on the streets. According to him, skills pay the bills, and he is willing to train anyone interested in learning shoemaking.
However, he needs our support. Mohamed is appealing for assistance to rebuild his and is also in need of a to expand his business. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way in supporting this hardworking young entrepreneur.
Let's support talent, promote self-employment, and empower our youth. Together, we can make a difference.
