One interesting thing you will get to see in the interiors in Sierra Leone is off-road cars being dismantled of everything that serves to promote road safety of its users and road users.

Drivers often rebuild their cars to allow them to carry as much goods as they can. In Yomandu, Kono district East of Sierra Leone, this car is loaded with country rice (locally grown rice) to be transported to nearby villages.

Rice remains to be the staple food across Sierra Leone.

The kids in Yengema, Kono District in the East of have to walk long distances to get to school. Some of the boys own a bicycle which is what they use to get to school.

In as much as this looks like a struggle in their quest for education - this is also good exercise for these young kids.
