Saudi Arabia and Egypt have taken a strong stance on the unity of Somalia; declaring that they will not tolerate anything that is against the unity & solidarity of Somalia, as they issued a joint statement. Djibouti, Saudi Arabia, Egypt & Turkey have now become the DFS's allies, replacing the regional countries that were previously friendly to the country.

A delegation led by Syrian Foreign Minister Asad Shaibani has arrived in Paris, the French capital, where they will hold talks with an Israeli delegation led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's chief of staff. The two sides, mediated by the US government, will discuss ways to reach a security agreement and direct cooperation between the Taliban and Damascus.
