Mary Boyoi claims that John Frog paid the AFRIMMA award organizers so that he can be nominated.

This comes after John Frog became the first South Sudanese artiste to be nominated for the prestigious African awards, where he was nominated alongside continental heavyweights such as Diamond Platinumz and Eddy Kenzo, among others.

This is not surprising given that it was not the first time Boyoi publicly abused and insulted Frog.

Some South Sudanese and John Frog fans, on the other hand, were quick to criticize her and tell her she is not on the same level as Frog.

The 2022 African Muzik Magazine Awards and Music Festival (AFRIMMA) nominee list is out and John Frog has been nominated. John Frog is nominated alongside Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones, Uganda’s Eddy Kenzo, Tanzania’s Diamond Platinumz for Best Male Artist - East Africa.

AFRIMA (All Africa Music Awards) is an annual awards ceremony created by the International Committee AFRIMA in collaboration with the African Union to recognize and reward musical works, talents, and creativity from across the African continent while promoting African cultural heritage.
