5 TIPS FOR PASSING THE SECURITY OFFICER / SECURITY GUARD INTERVIEW!
TIP #1 – You will be assessed against a number of important competencies during your security officer/guard interview and it is absolutely vital you can answer them with ‘evidence’. The competencies will consist of an ability to remain calm under intense pressure, utilizing analytical and problem solving skills, being able to use effective body language and also being able to defuse difficult situations.

TIP #2 – Whilst you do not need any prior experience of being a Security Officer/Guard, you will need to ensure you have suitable qualifications and have undertaken the relevant training courses that fall under the jurisdiction of the county or region you want to perform this role under.

TIP #3 – Professionalism is absolutely vital in this role and the majority of organizations want to employ Security Officers who have the ability to act with a high degree of integrity whilst also acting as a positive role model for their company. We strongly advise you are able to demonstrate these important qualities during your answers to the interview questions.
