According to the report from her close friends, Nyababa and others were detained for three days without food, water 💧 or basic human needs while on their way to Libya, Nyababa managed to escape with her groups, but tragically she not survived on the long journey to Libya.

At least one person has died after a wall collapsed at gold mining site in the palotor area of Jebel Iraq, Central Equatoria State.

The incident reportedly occurred today at approximately 11. 00 a.m.

Accompanied by senior presidential advisor Adut Salva Kiir, President Kiir on Sunday led gathering at Juba international airport to received the remains veterans statesmants Hon. Malana Mayen Wol Jong, Who died in Nairobi, Kenya on August 4.

The President was joined by Senior government officials, members of the Bereaved family, colleagues, friends and mourners from across South Sudan who was gathered at airport to received remains and pay their respects to the Late statesmant.

🇸🇸 MPs’ Reported Medical Allowance Reduced from $5,000 to $3,000

The reported medical allowance for members of South Sudan’s Transitional National Legislative Assembly (TNLA) has reportedly been reduced from $5,000 to $3,000 per lawmaker.

According to information shared with Hot in Juba, the change is linked to a proposed $5 million allocation for lawmakers and parliamentary staff. The initial proposal reportedly provided $5,000 for each MP and $1,000 for staff.

The reported adjustment represents a $2,000 reduction in the MPs’ medical allowance. However, the reason for the change and when it took effect remains unclear.

TNLA spokesperson Oliver Mori was reportedly contacted for confirmation and clarification but had not responded at the time of reporting.
