🇹🇭 We just ran 130 B2B meetings in 3 days between Thai energy and EV industrial players and 13 global exhibitors at Asia Sustainability Week & MobilityTech Asia — Bangkok 2026.

The real work happened before the doors opened.

📞 𝐖𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐮𝐩 — 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦
→ Built and screened a database of 559 Thai companies
→ Called 491 of them — every attempt logged (1,820 call entries in Airtable)
→ 182 came back interested, 51 registered, 44 companies actually showed

📊 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬
→ 13 exhibitors × 44 Thai buying companies
→ 71 participants, 130 one-on-one meetings
→ 10 meetings per exhibitor on average

Of 558 companies in the database, only ~8% attended. And 86% of confirmed meetings held — 7 no-shows, mostly the final day.

The lesson for anyone running trade missions in Thailand: The magic isn't the venue or the flags. It's the 1,820 phone calls nobody sees. 📞💼

We're proud to share the success of the Turkish Food Suppliers B2B Meetings 2026, held in collaboration with the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI/BTSO) led by our Indonesian team lead -- Ira Sustrini and Hadzamil Azmi.
