Thirty-three years ago, I walked into the communications industry with little more than curiosity, conviction, and an instinct that how organisations speak matters just as much as what they do.
I had no roadmap. No blueprint. Just a belief that communication — done with intention and integrity — could protect, elevate and transform.
Eighteen years ago, I took everything I had learned inside boardrooms, newsrooms and crisis situations and built something of my own. Not just a business — a commitment. A commitment to the Caribbean, to its leaders, and to the idea that strategic and crisis communications are not luxuries. They are necessities.
In December 2025, I paused to commemorate those milestones. Not to look back with nostalgia, but to look around with gratitude — at the clients who trusted me with their most vulnerable moments, the colleagues who sharpened my thinking, the mentees who reminded me why we pour into people, and the friends who held space for the human being behind the professional.
What I didn't expect was how much they would give me that evening and continue to pour into me, to date.
Over the coming weeks, I will be sharing a series of video testimonials from some of the people who were in that room — friends, clients, and kindred spirits who took a moment to speak from the heart. I share them not to celebrate where I have been, but to honour the relationships that made the journey worth taking — and to signal clearly:
The journey continues.
The work of building communications capacity across the Caribbean — equipping executives to lead with clarity, credibility and confidence — remains my deepest professional purpose. And I am just getting started.
Stay with me.
