Well done, Scene!

Fantastic turn-out at the opening of ‚Mas + Movies‘; Fun, beautiful, entertaining, AND informative block of films! Thanks for digging up ‚Carnival Fantastique‘ and such gorgeous work on Lost Tribe’s ‚Island Circus‘; loved it.

Looking forward to seeing it again (!) and to your future creations!

It was so much fun cooperating with you on your website, Shari, and your collaborative nature was clearly at work across your film creations and the event itself. All the best!

View ‚Mas + Movies‘ (block of 7 films) at Movietowne PoS every evening until the 4th of February, 2026.

Thank you, TTO Gymnastics Federation!

The 2025 CARIFTA Artistic Gymnastics Championships was a two-day event held on the 6th and 7th of December, 2025 at the National Athletics Centre, Couva. Promotion of the event began one month prior, with daily social media postings beginning on the 24th of November. These were done by Catherine Sforza on behalf of the Trinidad and Tobago Gymnastics Association (TTGF), making use of her own photographs + graphics designed by Forge Business Imagery.

Streaming was done through an official TTGF YouTube account. Eight total streams one for each apparatus on each of the two days, were configured and successfully executed. Camera operators were Sataish Rampersad (Vault), Soraya Moolchan (Bars), Jordon Briggs (Beam), and Shaun Rambaran (Floor). A 'CARIFTA 2025' webpage was created to act as a hub, allowing viewers to navigate the streams and find live results from Meet Scores. This webpage now persists as an archive page of the event.

Pre-production was done by Soraya Moolchan, drawing upon her extensive live-streaming experience for the trinidad+tobago film festival during those challenging years of the Pandemic (and the extensive live-streaming done during those lock-down years!).

Streaming of Day 01 (Saturday 6th December, 2025) was done for approximately 12 hours (09:00 to 21:00) and Day 02 (Sunday 7th December, 2025) for approximately 8½ hours (09:00 to 17:30). The overall streaming time therefore comes to 80+ hours. Across the two weeks surrounding the CARIFTA, there were over 2,500 visits to the event hub webpage and 8,800+ views across all eight live-streams!

During holding and warm-up between sessions, advertisements for the event's sponsors and donors were aired, with their logos also appears on the event hub webpage.

Thanks to everyone for the long and extensive work bringing together this project!

The story of Sticks and Moko Jumbie in Trinbago is more complex than even many Trinis believe.

Moose's craft and artistry supported Minshall Mas and later the well-known Keylemanjahro School of Arts from his home community of Cocorite. Later he struck out to form his own Watusi Cultural Caraval, creating Moko Jumbie Mas for children's Carnival.
