"Talk about a phenomenal experience! The Red Bull Neymar Jr's tournament was exactly that. An inspirational, life experience for me. Being a participant in the well executed tournaments here in Trinidad and Tobago and in Brazil, provided edifying opportunities that allowed me to further develop my athletic abilities, effectiveness as team player, social skills and sportsmanship. One of the most treasureable experiences was being able to travel to Brazil which allowed me to learn and interact with people of different cultural backgrounds. Though the team didn't make it to the next level, we were excited and proud to represent our country in this event. I enjoyed every moment of it, from having to overcome challenges to enjoying the Brazilian culture, staying at the beautiful Sofitel Guarujá Jequitimar hotel, while forming lasting friendships. The experience entailed everything possible, both negative and positive, which made it worthwhile. That's why such experiences are beneficial to any athlete....it makes you stronger and that's why I'm grateful for the opportunity and the experience."

"Brazil!!! The land of beautiful football. Growing up I always wanted to be like a Brazilian footballer, either Robinho, Ronaldinho or Ronaldo. The Red Bull Neymar Jr's 5 competition gave me the opportunity to travel to Brazil and play football in Brazil against all the winners from around the world!! This was a marvelous experience to see representatives from all these different countries come together in one place. The football was intense, but I enjoyed it. A bit disappointed with the results, but it was a learning experience all round.
This experience showed me areas I need to improve in my game. So I say to all young players interested, this is a brilliant opportunity to showcase your skills, learn from yourself and develop to get better, and also travel to a country you may not be able to go on your own. On top of that, getting to meet the man himself - Neymar Jr as well as other Brazilian players like Nene who played for PSG and now plays in Brazil... seeing them play and getting pictures with them, was one of the main highlights of the trip.
We all had a really nice time, and we were well taken care of by our management team. Thus, I take this opportunity to say thank you to all who were involved and those who supported us 🙏🏽 A dream come true..."

"To understand what this tounament meant to me, the break down of my journey will sum up everything. To me it was the epitome of "never give up". It took years of finding the right bunch of players and bringing them together. I fought through six years of pain and disappointment from players I knew, which on mornings of tournaments they won't show up or situations where they lacked professionalism (reaching late or just lack of overall discipline). I finally got the right players with the right mindset. So I'm so thankful to my teammates for getting us to this point. Thus, the experience of reaching to and being in Brazil was one of a kind - the hotel with its beach front view, the great food, and the opportunity to network with other people around the world, made it all fantastic. Even the opportunity to see Neymar Jr. up close on the pitch playing, as well as meeting him and shaking his hand was beyond surreal. With all that said, it's important to remember to "always be prepared and keep your belief system high", as "preparation + opportunity = success". When you love something, keep going at it and one day the Heavenly Father will open a door when you least expect it. Furthermore, if you're a part of a team, no matter the situation, always believe in your teammates. This experience was definitely memories for a lifetime, and I'm thankful to everyone that made this experience possible."

"To experience the journey of competing in the Red Bull Neymar Jr's five tournment was one of great treasure to me. It has brought so much to my character. It has shown me how beautiful the game of football is and how many opportunities there are to be achieved. From playing in Trinidad and Tobago and winning the trip to go to Brazil to competing against different countries, seeing and meeting Neymar Jr, interacting with people from all over the world and with different styles of football play, was truly a pleasure for me. Despite the unfortunate result, I'm still proud to say I represented my country with the team in this highly professional and well put together event. I will encourage every young aspiring footballer to take advantage of this opportunity. There's a lot to be gained from this indeed.
I want to give a special thanks to the staff/representatives who worked around the clock in ensuring that we had everything we needed in preparation for this tournament and also ensuring that we enjoyed every moment of it. I could safely say it was one of the best experiences of my life."

"I felt like I was in the World Cup! (although I have never been to one...) That's the way the Red Bull Neymar Jr's 5 tournament made me feel, being a part of it all.
The whole experience was wonderful, one of the best I have had so far in all my years of traveling and playing sports.
It was such an unbelievable tournament, I honestly didn’t know it would have been such a big event. The environment and how the people were passionate about the games, it was on another level.
Although we didn’t get the results we wanted, I still enjoyed every moment of the tournament, being with the group, enjoying Brazil together, competing and overcoming together as a team. Most importantly, our management team was very supportive. I loved every minute of it, memories I'll cherish always."

"The Red Bull Neymar Jr's five tournament here in Trinidad and Tobago and Brazil was a well organized competition, in every way possible. Playing in the tournament, winning in the final and then getting to go to Brazil was a great experience! Staying in the superb hotel, bathing in the beautiful beach in (Guaruja), also meeting great people from other countries. I must say it was a vibe. Despite we didn't make it out of our group stage, it was a sad moment for everyone of us. A very hard hurdle to get over, but the team decided to continue to enjoy every moment of it. It's an experience I'll never forget especially playing against the winners of the other countries and seeing them play as well. I learnt a lot from everyone, my teammates, the staff and myself, so I'm extremely grateful."

"This experience changed my whole mindset as a young footballer. It was the best thing that actually happened to me football wise. This whole experience from beginning to end, is one I would want any young player to encounter because it's an eye opener on how beautiful this game is and how far the game can take you, even if it's a five a side or big goal. It showed me, and the team as a whole how much we can gain from the game as a player. Additionally, this tournament allowed me to meet people from all over the world, learning different languages and different cultures... I made new friends.
Every young player would love to have such an opportunity and this wonderful experience."
