Ukrainian Entrepreneur branching out in Henfield
Henfield has welcomed a number of Ukrainians over the last few months since war broke out in their home country. They are all adjusting to their new lives in our village, and one of them, Oksana Denisova, has found a way to support both her fellow Ukrainians and our local community.
Oksana is the founder of SOBUT MEDIA UK, the UK branch of a Ukrainian Digital Marketing Agency. Ukraine is known worldwide as a hotbed of digital talent. Oksana is bringing those skills to the UK and is planning to employ hundreds of Ukrainian women who are now living here. “Many Ukrainian women who lost their jobs or sources of income due to the war are looking for new employment opportunities and need help and support in this,” says Oksana. “SOBUT MEDIA UK is now operating in Great Britain, conducting training as part of the ‘Meta Blueprint for Ukraine’ project and creating jobs for Ukrainian women whether they live in a small village or a big city.”
