Uzhhorod is known for its monuments of various historical eras. However, few people know that one of the main decorations of the city are mini-sculptures, which are installed in honor of famous people and events related to the history of the city. One of the most original is the mini-statue of Liberty, which is also the smallest operating lighthouse in Ukraine. The statue was installed on the railing of the bridge over the Uzh River in 2011 in honor of the Uzhhorod regatta. The figure is 17 cm tall and holds a lamp with a flashing LED.
