Your Vision Determines your Path

Every company or organization starts with a vision. Whether written or not, the question remains; “Where do you want to be as a result of your operations?”. The starting point, where you stand as a company today, will help you get a particular view of where you want to be in the next reasonable season, in 5 years, 10 years or even 100 years! So, what is your vision?

Does your vision clearly describe where you want to be? Can it be understood by your staff, stakeholders and the community you share it with? Have your staff owned it? If you have a good vision, well done. If you need help reshaping or evaluating your vision, send your vision statement for free review to the email: [email protected] .

Starting this week, we will be offering free advice with focus on vision. The following week we will focus on mission. If you don’t have a profile or strategic plan or you want to help grow your staff planning skills, this is a free opportunity to help them reach somewhere. Responses will be available in 24 hours from the time a vision statement is shared with us.

We will not write a vision for anyone. We will only offer advice, or at the extreme, make a suggestion based on what was shared with us. Remember your vision has to be approved by your Board of Directors or management as stipulated in your policies. Our supportive work can only help you make good suggestions to your management for approval. It’s usually advisable to present an entire document complete, not a single statement on its own. As we come close to the end of the year 2021, this might be a timely innovation for some.

There’s a possibility of organizing a weekly zoom meeting for one hour for those walking along with us on this new schedule.

Our information technology technical team has organised a self-moderated information technology basic course for our community with a desire to be regularly updating their websites. We take this opportunity to invite others interested to also sign up for this provision.

Course completion will depend on individual pace, but we recommend the course be completed within one month from the start. This course will be available from 30th August 2021.
