NEWS UPDATE 🚧 | Road Maintenance Progress in Moyo Town

Road maintenance works inside Moyo Town are currently ongoing. As we share this update, Lenze Basia Road is under repair, a positive sign for residents and road users.

Poor roads have remained one of the biggest complaints from different communities across Moyo District for decades. However, recent developments could help improve transport conditions, especially if major routes like the Moyo–Yumbe–Koboko Road and Afoji–Omi Road are fully worked on.

Despite this progress, community access roads and sub-county roads still remain a major challenge for the local government, affecting business, farming, transport, and daily movement.

Arua City motorists are pleading for fuel at petrol stations, a situation currently happening in Uganda, especially in the West Nile district, including Moyo, Adjumani, Koboko, Yumbe, and Obongi. The petrol station is flooded with boda bodas. As seen in the picture, there is a shortage of petrol Most stations are dry, which means that private cars and motorcycles cannot access fuel. However, the government and some officials have reserved fuel for themselves, which also affects service delivery to others. business in the region
