This was a beautiful story book ending to a first year with the Abilene Gladiators and I can't wait for next year! (One thing about technology which I said multiple times during the awards speech. It's great when it works but mannnnn when it doesn't work it's not so great! 😅😆 Wireless mic just like during the season wouldn't stop randomly dying lol.)

Before the season started I was told the Abilene Gladiators needed an Announcer, I looked into it and let me just say, it was the best thing I ever did!

I reached out to Derek Agraz late at night because I'm a firm believer "You miss 100% of the shots not taken", in hindsight I probably could have waited but I didn't want to miss an opportunity (Ya" know that proverbial when one door closes another one opens, type scenarios! 😅) after a little bit he asked me "A lot of people have reached out for different roles, what are you good at?"

At that moment I laid it on the table for him, my vision, which was quite lengthy! 😂

From that moment forth this man let me run absolutely WILD with any and every idea I could conjure. I've always been a "go getter" and knew that with this moment, maybe, just maybe, we could do something for Abilene that would WORK!

The Gladiators have FAMILY on the back of the jerseys for a reason and that's exactly what it felt like throughout the entirety of the season, moments of ups and downs, moments of bonding, moments of wins and losses, but more importantly, moments of coming together as ONE!

The Texas United Football League - TUFL gave us a chance to do the unthinkable when the odds were stacked against us, teams didn't believe in us, games that ended in a loss.

But one thing always remained and it even says it in our "Walkout song" Echoes of the Arena! "What we do in life, echoes through TIME." A quote comes to mind when I reminisce on the season.

These bluecollar men love the game and played it to their fullest and as the Professional Hype Specialist/Emcee/DJ/Brand Ambassador and the voice for the team, I couldn't be happier with the product that was put on the field and for their families for allowing them to join ultimately becoming a part of this family as well!

I'm appreciative of everything we achieved, everyone who came and supported, all the sponsors, Anastasia Rodela and Reagan Clark Agraz for documenting the entire season!

This "Coyote can't wait to run it back because like I once said at the beginning of the season, "The Gladiators are coming, it's in the air and I can feel it!" We are hungry, we are tightening up together, we are ready to make some noise. 2027, Are you ready? LET'S GO GLADIATORS.
