Spotted MP had the pleasure of announcing some exciting news today on behalf of the Salamander Collection.

Flagship Salamander Middleburg received three coveted Five-Star Awards from Forbes Travel Guide. The resort now one of only five properties in the USA and 13 globally to earn separate Five-Star Awards for its Accommodations, Restaurant and Spa.

The latest Forbes-Five star picked up recognizes the property's iconic restaurant Harrimans Grill. The signature restaurant at Salamander Middleburg achieves rating for the first time, making it one of only two restaurants in Virginia and three in the mid-Atlantic with the designation.

The 66th annual hospitality awards celebrate the world’s best hotels, spas, restaurants and ocean cruises.

2023...I only have one word for you and it is simply "Wow".
A lot of memories and milestones were packed into this year (from turning 50 to celebrating 15 years of Spotted MP) but sharing below some favorite moments both personally and professionally - too many to highlight over 365 days and not enough time. 2024 brings some exciting things on the horizon, we are just getting started! Our 2024 word is Boundless. May 2024 bring us boundless strength, opportunity, growth, grit and grace to us all.

Busy press day for client the National Council on Aging Today we announced a surprise gift from Philanthropist MacKenzie Scott.

Author and philanthropist MacKenzie Scott has given an $8 million unrestricted donation to NCOA to advance its mission to ensure equitable aging for all.

NCOA is working to address health and racial equity by empowering older Americans to access benefits programs that can help pay for daily expenses, learn new skills to re-enter the workforce, and take measurable steps to stay healthy and independent.

As the largest gift in NCOA’s 72-year history, this will help accelerate NCOA's efforts to make aging well a right, not a privilege, for every American. The gift will address health and racial equity to ensure every American has the resources to age with dignity.

NCOA receives $8 million from author and philanthropist MacKenzie Scott to advance its mission to ensure equitable aging for all. As the largest gift in our 72-year history, this will help accelerate NCOA's efforts to make aging well a right, not a privilege, for every American.

This week NBC Washington featured family-owned business Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap and their seasonal experience - The Loft at Lena's in how they transform the space each season in four days.

Lena’s Pizza has been changing the theme of their restaurant since the start of the pandemic, but they aren’t the only ones innovating. News4’s Tommy McFly reports.

As we close out the month of February and head into Women's History Month, we thought we would share some fun news. Spotted MP Founder & CEO Maurisa Potts was featured in VIP Alexandria Magazine as one of Alexandria's Most Inspiring Women of 2021. The magazine selected 14 women for this opportunity based on their recent achievements, perseverance throughout the pandemic and willingness to support their fellow female professionals and female-owned businesses in a time of need.

The February Issue is out and the link to her interview is below. The selected ladies participated in a Go Red for Women photoshoot at Landmark Mall, where part of Wonder Woman 1984 was filmed.
