I've been asked a few times lately if I'm still doing freelance work because my social media presence hasn't been active in quite some time. The answer is a resounding yes! I have not stopped doing my marketing work. I tend to be a pretty private person, so I find it easier to promote others than to discuss my own work. I simply prefer working behind the scenes. That said, I'll gladly share that I've been hard at it! I have amazing clients who make my work fun and rewarding. I've updated my website, and I've had some wonderful opportunities to continue learning and growing in my field. I've also taken a position working for my local Chamber of Commerce, and that has been time-consuming but very fulfilling and educational. In my personal life, I've experienced some lows due to injury and illness in the family, but overall, life is good, and I'm still here serving those who need me. ❤️

My family has done these almost every year since my daughter was 5 years old. We fill them out, and then we compare our previous year's answers to our current answers. Are you bringing value to the table? I recently apologized to a store employee for being in his way while out running errands. His response was something along the lines of, "That's alright. I'm paid the same regardless of the work I do." 😳 Please don't have this attitude at work! Whether you're the boss or the bag boy, the value you bring to the table matters! ❤ Bring it with you when you come to work.
