Now is the time to serve.

Join us in a Toiletries Drive to support those impacted by the recent tornado in Mineral Wells. Your donations will make a meaningful difference as families begin the recovery process.

All collected items will be delivered Tuesday evening.

We are proud to officially welcome Brad Hargrove as the new Fire Chief of the Venus Fire Department! 👨‍🚒🔥

Chief Hargrove brings over 27 years of fire service experience to our community. His journey began as a volunteer firefighter, and over the years he has served in nearly every role—firefighter, training director, lieutenant, and assistant chief—earning a strong reputation for leadership, mentorship, and dedication to public safety.

A graduate of the Texas Fire Chief Academy and the Fire Chief Executive Officer Program at Texas A&M’s Mays Business School, Chief Hargrove holds a long list of professional certifications, including:

✅ Master Structural Firefighter
✅ Fire Officer III
✅ Incident Commander
✅ EMT-Advanced
✅ Certified Fire Executive (CFE)
✅ Fire Service Chief Executive Officer (FSCEO)

He is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Fire Administration at Columbia Southern University, set to graduate in 2025.

Beyond his professional achievements, Chief Hargrove is a devoted family man—husband to Anna, father to Ashley, and proud grandfather to Jaxon Bradley.

We are excited and honored to have Chief Hargrove leading the way here in Venus. His vision, experience, and heart for the fire service are exactly what our department and community need as we continue to grow and serve.
