The sizing die is along very nice. Im making a #4140 nose piece that will retain the carbide ring and only let the carbide stick out a few thou the .05" or so that the testers did. The 4140 will go to heat treat, then I'll press the carbide in from the back. Keep in mind, the carbide is retained with a lip that was ground on the ring. The unit can't be pulled out during sizing. It's a very light press, maybe .0001".

I have some other I have in mind that I will show in the next few days. These 1st 100 units Im still looking at shipping in a few weeks. The hold down option is next. Just stick with me.

Other things, we have been a ton of chips running the popper spring housing for our standard popper, these have been running on the swiss.

Pins are up next on the swiss. Small dia, standard dia, and Camdex style pins. Busy next few weeks.

The sizing rings just showed up. I will complete assembly, get the hold down squared away. Still looking at mid -Oct...
