50’s are Wild! What hits you?

I asked 10 people over 65 what their biggest regret was when retiring… and not one of them said they wished they had worked more.

What I heard instead broke my heart a little.

“I wish I had started sooner.”
“I wish I had taken better care of my health.”
“I wish I had spent more time with my family.”
“I wish I hadn’t waited for the ‘perfect time.’”
“I wish I had built another stream of income while I still had the energy.”

That last one stayed with me.

Because so many people spend decades working hard… only to realize retirement isn’t just about stopping work. It’s about having choices. Freedom. Peace. Time.

Time to travel.
Time to rest.
Time to say yes to lunch with your kids or a weekend with your grandbabies without stressing over money.

And the truth is… most people don’t regret trying something new.
They regret waiting too long to believe they could.
