A few weeks ago, I had the chance to spend some time with Neon Soul, an acrylic painting by Em Camacho, while preparing prints for her exhibition at Stephan Fine Arts Gallery in downtown Anchorage.
One of the things I love most about this work is getting to slow down and really study a piece. You start noticing the brushwork, the color choices, and all the little details that can get missed at first glance.
Seeing artwork move from an artist’s studio to a gallery wall is always special. I’m grateful Em trusted me to help bring her vision to print.
If you’re an artist and have been thinking about making prints of your work, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to talk through the process.
