I never do school photos, so I try to get photos around the same time of year accomplished for all the children. Enjoy! Tucker is now a freshman in high school, almost 15. Caeleigh is 13 and in 7th grade. Hadleigh is 11 and in 6th, Emmett is 7 and in second grade. Amara and Noni are 5 and 3 and both attend preschool.

I believe that the best photos are the ones that capture a real moment in time, one that showcases the spirit of the people in it, the emotion, and the warmth of real life. I'm not big on posed, studio style photos, where everyone has a smile pasted on their face at the moment an artificial light bulb goes off for the click of a camera shutter. I like to think that the photos I take capture a little piece of time, a piece of beauty that will last forever.

It is a gift to be able to capture something as profound as a wedding or engagement. Love is a beautiful thing. Some of my most meaningful work is in capturing moments like these. A special thank you to Ben and Bethany, and to Bleu and Jake, who have inspired me with their love stories.
