I'm absurdly absent from social media compared to the Vegan in NJ of yesteryears and while I am very sorry to everyone who relied on my content, I'm also not really sorry because the content I would be pushing out would not be great.

Times are tough and the state of the world and this country is taking a toll on me.

I'll post when I can. Almost all the food I eat is eaten at home, likely while trying to distract a toddler and yelling at one of my dogs to stop chugging water because after almost 10 years, he hasn't realized it makes him puke every time, so it's not a pretty situation and it's not one that can be photographed nor do I even remember that taking food photos are a thing (also where even is my phone through all of this?).

That being said, I'm more than happy to accept collab requests on posts from local vegans and vegan businesses.

You know that feeling when you see the food truck at an event where they're probably the only vegan food or one of the very few food trucks. 🙌🏼 And it's a red af truck that you absolutely cannot miss! ❤️

We caught them at the event a couple weeks ago, but you can find them at the Paddle for Pink dragon boat race in Mercer County this Saturday!

All the food pictured is gluten free as well! They are able to make so much of their menu gluten free, wraps and sandwiches included.

If you're a NJ vegan and you love ice cream, it's likely you have already been to in Asbury Park, let's be honest.

But did you know they added vegan soft serve back into the mix? 🍦 My son and I went last weekend and they had Cap'n Crunch + Vanilla, so Kieran got a swirl that he thoroughly enjoyed.

Me? I much prefer their regular ice cream! I got Almond Joy and a chocolate raspberry tahini something or another that I really should remember because it was absolutely incredible 🤩

We understand how much anticipation surrounded this event, and we shared that excitement with you. However, due to a variety of unforeseen circumstances that are unfortunately beyond our control, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the event rather than attempt to reschedule and replan for a third time. This choice was not made lightly, as we genuinely wanted to create a memorable experience featuring some incredible businesses for all of you.

Our goal was to deliver an outstanding event that would leave a lasting impression, but the financial implications of continuing to push forward—such as incurring additional costs, raising ticket prices, and risking our own losses—have led us to conclude that it simply isn’t feasible at this time. We truly appreciate your understanding as we navigate these challenges, and we are disappointed that we won’t be able to bring this vision to life.

For those of you who purchased tickets, please check your email as you have received a similar notification, along with details about your full refunds, which will be processed back to your original payment method.
