I truly believe that our perceived “success” both internally and externally hinges on this notion of what is genuinely ours to offer the world.

Living your dharma and offering your unique gift to the world is so much more than being a business owner – it’s living the essence of your true self – and I don't think there's any success greater than that.

When your intentions are true and your offerings pour from the heart of who you are then there is no failing...only moving forward along your journey one step at a time knowing that you’re aligned with the gifts you were meant to bring to your community.

You’re doing it all the time even if the vanity metrics (follower count, likes/comments, money in your account, etc.) don’t reflect that.

In our modern world, these metrics are a part of the equation when identifying as a soulful entrepreneur is part of living your dharma.

I see so many entrepreneurs and coaches mentioning “X-figure months” and using that as a tool to showcase their success. But, when we focus on the numbers we forget about the importance of the impact we’re making in every moment.

It could be a question that sparks an inspiring conversation or sharing what you’ve learned along your journey that will have a ripple effect far greater than any bank statement can ever reflect.

Those kinds of metrics don’t reflect what it means to be successful to you and you alone. That might not mean making a lot of money. It could mean something totally different and that’s for you to decide.

Today, I encourage you to define success outside of the conventional metrics and then celebrate yourself when you see that success in action.

It’s not about the destination or that big vision of “success” you have in your mind.

Although that helps you move things forward and inspires you...the joy lies in the journey and appreciating each step along the way, even the ones that feel like a step back in the moment.

Here are a few things I like to do to keep me focused on enjoying the journey, not the destination…

✨ Cultivating a work/life balance that’s right for me (No thanks “hustle culture”)

✨ Practice gratitude for all that I have and all that’s on the way

✨Celebrate the small wins along the way

✨ Focus on the next right step

Those things that you’re drawn to, that bring you passion and light you up...they’re important and they need to be shared with the world.

When you are in touch with those parts of yourself and being of service to others you are living your dharma.

For a long time, my passion and purpose felt like a far-off dream and I had no idea what I was even passionate about.

Finding my dharma was a winding path that led me to where I am - serving and supporting heart-centered, soulful entrepreneurs with branding, website design and marketing consulting.
