Our belief is straightforward: Donald Trump is an aspiring dictator.

He’s running around with his billionaire sponsors, cosplaying as a king, disregarding everything that got him elected in the first place. More on that later.

Democrats deserve scrutiny for where the country finds itself. And the truth is undeniable: The 2024 election was a disaster.

I say this with love—I am proud to be a Democrat. At our best, we prioritize solutions over grievances and lift up all Americans. It's the Obama-era politics that inspired me to get involved.

American civic life relies on our shared democratic principles. An almost quaint idea in 2025.

I began working in politics in 2015 as Trump rose to power.

My politics have become more defined by what I reject than what I embrace.

The Democratic party is only viable bulwark standing between us and MAGA autocracy.

As an independent progressive publication, Connective Narrative seeks to push back against right-wing dominance in online media.

The reality? We’re losing the battle for attention.

The right controls nearly every major social media platform—X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok. They’ve weaponized these spaces to spread their radical message.

But it’s not a lost cause.

We have powerful voices on the left—independent media, journalists, and activists fighting every day. We must amplify them.

We won’t fix these issues overnight, but team democracy needs a wake-up call. The time for hand-wringing is over. It’s time to act.

Support Progressive Media: Share, subscribe, and invest in independent voices pushing back against right-wing narratives.

Use Your Platform: Stop doom-scrolling. Start creating. Spread truth and combat misinformation.

Reject Complacency: The right thrives on relentless engagement. We must match their energy.

A Better Future Is Possible.

Pro-worker. Respected leadership at home and abroad. An America that rewards hard work and bold ideas, not just the wealthy.

The freedom to live as you are—without government interference. A future where security and morality aren’t at odds.

This is what we believe. This is what we fight for. And as long as we have a choice, we’ll be in this fight.

America feels broken, doesn’t it?

It’s 2025, and log on to whichever mind-melting social media platform you choose and you will find the same thing: endless questions, enraging answers, and echo chambers louder than ever before.

The once-cool, edgy new media has become just as broken and toxic as the legacy media they’d never replace. Algorithms and depraved incentive structures have driven us to the brink of every political, cultural, and social extreme.

Independence isn’t real. Moderation isn’t rewarded. Compromise isn’t effective. Attention is only for the loudest and cruelest voices.

Or so we’re told to believe.

Let’s face it, the time for change is long overdue. Politics doesn't need to feel this way. A healthier, more productive, more effective conversation is possible.

That’s why we’re launching Connective Narrative, founded by Gerard Oberle.

Connective Narrative offers a one-of-a-kind perspective, shaped by a decade of experience working alongside the nation’s most influential, impactful, and polarizing political campaigns and government leaders.

We’re naturally fallible but unfailingly honest. We’re imaginative yet ruthlessly pragmatic. Unbeholden, and tireless in our mission. Always hopeful.

We can’t tell you what the future will bring and we can’t tell you we have all the answers. But we will always be on the side of hope and freedom.

On the side of progress. On the side of compassion. On the side of growth.

Taking aim at actual advancement. Not viral headlines and never meaningless platitudes just to make us feel better.

Real solutions. Real connection. Real change.

That’s our mission. A mission to fight back during this time of uncertainty and backsliding.

Now more than ever, we need to uplift the voices and stories of the unheard.

To think outside the proverbial box. To keep swinging. To keep pushing forward.
