Over my 20-year career in sales and marketing, I've seen a lot. We've gone from websites and social platforms being the shiny new toys to CRMs and AI being the "buzz words" today.

These are all exciting yet challenging times as we (sales and marketing teams) try to keep up.

Fun Fact: I once took my entire marketing team through an exercise to manually go through 12 years of Excel "CRM" sheets to upload clean data into our shiny new CRM (HubSpot, obviously).

It took us 5 solid days of research alone, which doesn't include what happens after upload. In the words of the great Sydney Greiner at the time, WOOF. 😅

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that change is inevitable.

The speed at which sales and marketing teams move through those changes will determine their success.

The speed at which you adapt to the new technologies, how you set up your CRM, and how you work together AS ONE TEAM to deploy your solution (strategy) will make or break in this new era.
