IG made a huge announcement this week: each user now has say over their individual algorithm in the “Reels” section of the app.
Simply go to the “Reels” tab and click the new icon, two lines with hearts, in the top right corner of the screen to view your personal dashboard.
In that dashboard, users can now choose which content they want to see more or less often.
Do you think this will improve your chances of organic reach? Or are paid ads still the way to go?
