Take this as your sign to spend fall in upstate South Carolina🍁

is filled to the brim with incredible parks, trails and fall foliage. We never saw many people so it felt like a hidden paradise… so we’re here to tell you that it needs to be on your bucketlist.

Here are some trip-planning tips for you:

​​- Caesar’s Head State Park, Table Rock State Park, and Devils Fork State Park are great parks for fall foliage. This is where we spent most of our time.
- Pickens has great food options and isn’t too far from these state parks.
- There are cabins at Table Rock State Park and some scattered throughout the upstate area that are great as a home base.
- We recommend 3-5 days here, but of course you could stay longer.
- Lake Oolenoy was our favorite sunrise spot and Sassafras Mountain was our favorite sunset spot.

Apart from the fall foliage, South Carolina is home to the kindest locals, quaint towns and quirky shops. The people truly make you feel at home, which is pretty special if you ask us.

How is everyone doing? The last few weeks have been so incredibly busy for me and now that it’s simmering down (a bittttt), I am just… so tired.

Don’t get me wrong - it has been an AMAZING few weeks filled with work that literally feeds my soul with dream clients. 2016 Ang would be so proud🥹.

But I was reminded by my best friend (who is a therapist by trade - I know I lucked out) that it’s imperative to weave some rest into my days ESPECIALLY when it’s go go go and nonstop. This tempo isn’t sustainable - and for people who are type a, business owners, etc. you sometimes forget that.

I was going to post an education video today but I couldn’t even finish it. So, now you get a reminder to GET SOME REST. Your body and mind will thank you for it💖

Four days well spent.

This is my second time in and it just keeps getting better and better🍁 Not only is it filled with stunning fall foliage, great trails and state parks, it also is home to incredibly kind locals and quaint shops that add to the allure of the state.

I loved Caesar’s Head, Table Rock, and Devils Fork State Parks along with Campbell’s Covered Bridge (the last remaining covered bridge) and Sassafras Mountain (the highest peak). Lake Oolenoy was my favorite sunrise spot and Sassafras Mountain was my favorite sunset spot!
