The Quality Care for Children knows that proper nutrition is important for a child to learn. (from AJC)...every day, some are arriving at school with hunger pangs, as they found out last year at Lawrenceville Elementary School in Gwinnett County. A teacher on breakfast duty was the first to notice. She saw students “just chowing down on the food and getting upset that they couldn’t take extra,” principal Lisa Marie Johnson said. The Muppets are out!!! The Jim Henson Company decided to end their partnership with Chick-fil-a following the company's stand against gay marriage. Following the statement, there has been a huge push on social media to boycott the chain. Do you think it is time for a public apology or has Chick-fil-a ruffled too many feathers?

Yahoo nabs top Google executive for CEO. Marissa Mayer was the first female engineer hired by Google, and she spent 11 years perfecting Google’s Web search (still the dominant search engine) and became its most recognizable public face. The clean look of the search engine was credited to Ms. Mayer’s sense of aesthetics. At Yahoo, Mayer will be in charge of giving life to the struggling company and increasing advertising revenue. She will be the fifth CEO for Yahoo in five years. On top of that...SHE'S WITH CHILD!!! Congrats all around

Marissa Mayer’s challenge will be to resuscitate a moribund company and to avoid the fate of so many other experienced executives who have run Yahoo.
