Far more women in this country wear a size 16 than a size 6, but the industry seems not to have noticed.

I made a headpiece for a 20's themed wedding. It took me about 30 minutes and costs me $0! I had the necklace and the feather and then pulled from my craft/sewing supplies to assemble them.

Another fantastic closet session! Look at how much we were able to get rid of! Those hangers were full when i got there. The bags in the pictures are all clothes. After we bagged up shoes and purses we had 7 bags total.

Now she can easily find the clothes she likes and that work for her new life as a fabulous retiree! Another thrilled client and happy husband :)

Today I got another great reminder about how important networking is for your business, even if you you don't see the rewards of your effort immediately.

This morning I received a call from a gentleman I met through networking over a year an a half ago. He wants me to come and do an image presentation for veterans who are now in the University system.

I am soooo excited!!! I love love love working with vets and helping them transition into successful civilian careers.

Be memorable and people with think of you when the time comes!

Want to know WHY this style dress is flattering on pretty much EVERY body type?

1. The vertical line down the middle elongates the body.
2. The horizontal line accentuates the waist
3. The panels on the side accentuate (or help fake) an hourglass shape by making the waist look smaller and slimming the hips
4. The angle of the zippers mimics the paneling, helping to further accentuate the waist

I will say many of these women are wearing colors that do not work for them. It is important to understand your coloring if you are going to be on film!

As we go into fall and winter our skin gets dry (duh). Instead of lotion, use a cream. Cream's higher viscosity (aka thickness) helps it trap the moisture in better.

After I present, I try to stay after so I can speak with anyone who wants to talk. Sometimes it is one-on-one, others small groups. But almost all of the time, we end up laughing and joking, and someone (who asks for it) gets some very real, straight forward advice.

Basically, my talks have an after party. That is what I am going to call it from now on.
