Designers, let’s break this down together! What you “think” you need to run a successful design biz vs THE FACTS.

⚡️ Swipe Left — Do any of these situations sound familiar to you? I’m willing to bet this resonates with someone because this was my experience as a *self taught* designer. You kinda just make up things as you go.. right? Because you *think* that’s how it goes. That’s exactly how it can be as a first gen entrepreneur, self taught designer, following old techniques from your design degree, etc.

Reflecting back on the two-day design class that I taught, & it was AMAZING. It SOLD OUT. My first class SOLD OUT. God be showing out, right?. I gave my all and taught EVERYTHING I knew. I was able to overcome my fear of speaking in front of people. I feel like Im ready to conquer anything that comes my way!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Giving my all: I don’t believe in teaching “FLUFF”. Often times, people are afraid of others succeeding or moving past them during their journey.. but that’s not the reality of it. I’ve learned that when you genuinely open up and help people, you are blessed a million times over. There’s so many opportunities and so much money floating around the world..that you can’t make it all yourself. Help someone else. I love to take my time and plan out beneficial material, for anyone that comes in contact with me. Clients too. (Did you like the free ebook? Comment!) I’m 100% certain my students left knowing so much more than they did before they walked in the room. I sent them home with a booklet full of notes. They got gift boxes too! Lets just say, they got more than their moneys worth. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

There wouldn’t have been a class without you. ❤️ Of course, I’m stalking the class attendees and man they are killing it!They left inspired and they went home and got to it! I’m seeing rebrands, photoshoots, new business cards, new websites, passive income brewing.. I’m so proud of you ladies! My heart is full knowing so many WOC were eager to learn and dominate in the tech industry. NOW I WANT TO TEACH MORE! God has gifted me with a talent and I’m ready to share it. THE REBRAND + THE REBIRTH :
If you have been following me, you know that I magically disappeared last year and deleted all of my work. Truth be told, entrepreneurship is hard and I wanted change. I never stopped working — instead I took a few steps back and evaluated my goals. I invested tons of money to get this business right. I had to coach myself into understanding that you HAVE to invest in yourself in order to triple your income or even see great things happen.. whether it be an investment in time, money, or anything else: INVEST. I hired 2 coaches and now I’m on a new path. Realize, sometimes you can’t do it all by yourself. Hire some help. Thank you to those who didn’t question my craziness for completely vanishing lol + thank you to those who checked on me consistently, I’m fine.. all is well AND now it’s LIT! I’m officially rebranded. Stay tuned! I’ve been writing content since last year for my website and I KNOW you all will absolutely love it. I worked SUPER hard on this. Site LAUNCH tomorrow! Thank you for riding along with me on this journey!
