February's LEAP meeting was "Service" focused.

It was fun to learn through "behind the scenes" participation how one of our women lead nonprofit organizations work. It was super rewarding to be able to help even in such a small way.

We are your agents. Sometimes a large agency is so busy placing buys for their many large clients that taking the time to check the performance of the supplier to ensure that the buys are running correctly is an afterthought.

All impressions are not equal. A buy can hit impression goals every period, but what if the impressions being served are the wrong impressions? What if, for example, you are trying to reach 35-64 year old men and the impressions were actually delivered to 18-34 year females? When this happens the ad misses the mark and your money is wasted. Big, understaffed and overworked agencies can easily miss this mistake and run with data showing the total number of impressions. Everything looks good but actually it isn't.

We take extra steps. We check, recheck, and adjust when needed to ensure that we are good stewards of our client's advertising investment. We are your agents.

We enjoyed a great L.E.A.P meeting this morning.

Our theme for this month was "Staying Sane in the New Year"

Stephanie Wilson from spoke to the group about mental wellness and lead us through chair yoga exercises that we can use at work.

Dr. Diana Tyler with shared her presentation "Taking Care of Your Brain Can Help" giving us tips on how to improve brain health and reprogram our brain stems.

We appreciate them sharing their time and tips that will help us reduce stress.

We are a great group of business women who come together once a month to network, learn, and share ideas that can help us to navigate the waters of business.

In the advertising world the word "reach" is used often. It is one of many words used in our industry that can be confusing to a business looking to use advertising.

Even many of the folks who are familiar with the term often do not fully understand how important it is to a campaign and how it works in conjunction with other advertising jargon to make a solid media plan.

The word "Reach" represents a super important metric that advertising planners and buyers use both within an agency and with suppliers when considering which mediums to use for an ad campaign and how well each of the selected mediums used in a campaign is performing.

We take the time to ensure that our clients fully understand the role "Reach" has in the plan, how it applies to their budgets and ultimately the campaign's success.

Saturday we hit the road for our last Adopt-a-Road clean-up day of 2023.

What started as a cold and dreary morning turned into an afternoon of tired satisfaction.

We had two helpers this time. Our haul of garbage wasn’t as big as usual. That’s ok maybe that’s a sign that folks have decided to litter less. We still brought in 4 bags.

Our hearts were touched as a resident stopped his suv, got out and thanked us for cleaning the road. He said he’d seen us do it before and wanted us to know that he appreciated our efforts. He even gave a us wonderful Christmas gift.

While we didn’t bring in a giant haul of trash, we did leave the road cleaner and ourselves feeling fulfilled for helping and we also left feeling appreciated by someone who experiences the fruit of our labor each time they leave and return home.

It was a great Saturday and we’re looking forward to 2024.
