Here's your reminder to step out of your comfort zone every once in a while.

Here's another reminder to surround yourself with people who will push you to be better.

This year is off to a great start 🖤

I’ve stayed quiet on this page for a long time.

Not because I haven’t had an opinion — trust me, I have. I’ve been loud on my personal platforms, but I kept this space “neutral” because it felt safer for business in a place where my politics aren’t popular. But keeping my business page separate hasn’t felt “safe.” It’s felt like comfort over conviction.

I didn’t want to “rock the boat,” but that boat is already sinking.

But there Is no more room for silence.

I thought I could get by with likes and reshares and rely on the creators already using their platforms but this calls for a louder voice.

We cannot wait. It may not be at your door yet, but you're running out of protections that allow you to believe that it won't soon touch you or people you love.

Because what’s happening in our country isn’t just politics.

It’s humanity. It’s morality.

I believe every person deserves dignity, safety, and basic human rights — no matter where they were born. I believe what’s happening in our country, is not making it safer- it was never about safety.

Speaking up here will likely mean losing collaborations, followers, or clients who support what’s happening and I’m more than okay with that.

Call your representatives. Support causes that fight what’s happening. It's time.

2025 → 2026

2025 was a slower year for me in the best way.

More focus. More intention. More clarity.

I stayed close to my clients, kept learning, and quietly built a stronger foundation for The Magnolia Black.

I celebrated in Tampa with Ask Us Beauty, created magic on the runways with Poshe, saw growth despite tough times with my e-comm clients and watched sales grow with every email sent. I ventured into the world of non-profit- something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. And we grew The Magnolia Collective- the community of female entrepreneurs that I have the incredible honor of building with some of the best ladies on the planet.

2025 was: Intentional. Grounded. Foundational.

2026 feels different — and I haven’t been this excited in a long time.

I’m stepping into this year aligned and ready. To share more, learn out loud, and grow in ways that feel exciting and intentional.

There are plans to scale, plans for collaborations and plans to make this the biggest year yet for TMB.

2026 is: Aligned. Amplified. Evolving.

Thank you to everyone who’s trusted me, supported me, and been part of this journey. I’m excited for what’s ahead and grateful to bring you along for it.

✨ Scenes from the runway ✨

I just wrapped my second FACEs of Fashion show with Fulton County and it was everything. Fashion, art, creativity, and community all in one space.

It’s always an honor to work alongside my longtime friend and powerhouse producer Michelle Lynch of Poshe Productions. I truly admire all she’s doing for the Atlanta fashion scene and beyond—this show is proof of her vision in motion.

From watching designers bring bold ideas to life, to working behind the scenes with an insanely talented team of volunteers and creatives, it was one of those pinch-me projects.

So proud to see Fulton County showing up for the arts—through fashion, education, and culture. And proud to be there doing what I love: helping visionary brands tell their story.

More of this please, Atlanta 🖤

If you’re waiting until November to plan your holiday content… you’re already behind.

I say this with love - and with the data to back it up. Q4 is where so many businesses make or miss their momentum, and the brands that show up early are the ones that stay top-of-mind when buying season hits.

Think of it like this:
Your audience is about to be bombarded with promos, gift guides, countdowns, and sales. If your content isn’t planned, branded, and baked into the calendar now… it’s going to get buried.

Here are a few key dates you need to map out now:

* Halloween – Oct 31
* Thanksgiving Weekend – Nov 28–Dec 2 (Black Friday, Small Biz Saturday, Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday)
* 12 Days of Christmas – Dec 13–24
* New Year’s Eve & Day – Dec 31–Jan 1

And let’s not forget:
* Shipping cutoffs
* Booking deadlines
* Gift card pushes
* Year-end recaps
* "New Year, New You" service launches

Whether you’re a service provider, local shop, or ecommerce brand - now is the time to outline your offers, prep your visuals, and start showing up consistently.

Want help mapping it out or need a campaign brainstorming sesh? That’s what we do over here at The Magnolia Black. Let’s build your season with strategy and soul.

Excited to see this develop!

Two Yale University juniors, Nathaneo Johnson and Sean Hargrow, have raised $3.1 million in just 14 days to launch Series, an AI-powered social network designed to create warm, double opt-in introductions based on mutual value.

Unlike traditional social platforms that thrive on vanity metrics, Series focuses on facilitating real, purpose-driven connections — starting with college campuses.

The founders are positioning Series as a powerful new alternative to the Facebook playbook.

I have admittedly only just started playing with image creation with AI, so this trend felt right on time for me.

I also opened Insta today and the first video I saw was saying this trend is over so don't look, okay! 😅

Anyway, this was the beginning of creative prompts and I'm excited to dive into more- there really is no limit to creativity in this world.

There are a million versions of the prompt out there but if you'd like mine shoot me a DM!

This year saw The Magnolia Collectives second annual Vision Board Workshop. Our theme was Blueprint Your Brilliance and the female founders that gathered that day did just that.

A few years ago if you'd have asked me what I thought about Vision Boards I may have rolled my eyes but after experiencing the real impact the process has on building the foundation of your success for the year, i'm a believer.

The Magnolia Collective has tailored this workshop to founders and entrepreneurs to go beyond the cutting and pasting to making real actionable plans from budgeting to professional development and self care (an often overlooked piece of the puzzle). Our workbook breaks the process down into several modules that forces you to reflect on the year behind us and deep dive into your plan for the year ahead.

We've recently been offered an opportunity to bring the process to the corporate world and once again tailor it to the specific needs of women in leadership roles within their organization. We're excited to see this new initiative take flight.

If you're interested in hosting a Vision Board workshop, let's chat!
