Instagram hates anything longer than 3 minutes so thanks for coming back for part two!

1) Being a driver’s media or shooting at a professional level. Keep in mind that this isn’t free. At the higher levels the driver is often paying for your hard card access, and in exchange you’re expected to deliver on your product whether it’s photo or video.

2) Start a blog or photo portfolio - Write about experience or post your stuff somewhere other than Instagram. Use this to share with potential events you’re getting credentials for IN ADDITION TO your Instagram or other social media page.

✨ Part One of Two ✨

If you were ever curious on how to get media credentials at motorsports and local events, here are my tips:

1) Build a portfolio. Even if you start out walking around a car show taking photos or taking photos of your buddies car, that’s how you start building your skills and your style.

2) Build relationships - Get to know the drivers that show up at every event, introduce yourself, ask if you can take photos of their car, send them a few shots post event. Be pleasant to work with and be around!

3) If you have any interest in writing or writing/journalism skills, find a media outlet that you’d like to contribute to and see what their requirements are. If you don’t have a writing portfolio, it’s cheap/free to start a blog and start writing about your experience at events, as well as showcasing your photos.

Big paws, even bigger heart 💜

I don’t depart much from cars, but for Nahla and Sara, capturing her last days were an honor. We wish our furry friends could be with us forever and it’s truly the worst part of having these beautiful creatures as our best friends, confidants and protectors of the backyard.

Nahla was a special girl that I had the privilege of knowing through Sara, and witnessing her athleticism and deep love for Sara through some of the darker times in her life. I love all animals, but dogs will always have a special place for me 💜

RIP sweet Nahla. I hope there’s a bunch of water to jump into where you’re going. 🌈

RACINGforALS caught me working this weekend at Just Track It’s track day at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta over the weekend. I’ll never get tired of sweating in the July heat for race cars 🏎️
